SUMANA SREE REDDY

To the one person who feels more like home than anything else — Sumana Sree Reddy 💖

She’s not just my best friend; she’s the chaos in my calm, the therapist I never pay, and the embodiment of warm hugs and louder-than-life laughter. Her personality? Funny, caring, ambitious, and full of pakka sister vibes. Whether I’m on top of the world or crying over nothing, her hugs have this magical power — they turn my bad days into the kind I want to relive. With her dreamy long hair and eyes that hold both madness and love, Sumana is everything.

She wants to be a pilot, and when she’s up in the clouds, the sky won’t know what hit it ☁️✈️. We’ve made countless memories: playing lagori like pros, bitching about that one person we both can’t stand, and her convincing me to accept an “idiotic creature” she insists isn’t that bad (he was that bad, Sumana 💀).

We spent our 15-day vacation watching movies, bingeing snacks, screaming at plot twists, and crying over fictional characters like it was our full-time job 🍿💔. She’ll force me to watch her latest favorite movie and act like I committed a crime if I don’t love it immediately. Meanwhile, I’m just trying to read in peace, but no — she hates reading and reminds me every 5 minutes 😭.

OKAY, I WENT A BIT OVER THE WORD LIMIT (SORRY FOR TH INCONVENIENCE CAUSED), BUT I DIDN’T WANT TO MESS WITH THE FLOW. SO, I ADDED THE NEXT PART IN THE ‘EXAMPLE’ SECTION BELOW! 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
We’ve danced at every birthday party like we were on stage, gone on late-night walks that turned into heart-to-hearts under the stars, and sent each other reels all day, sometimes from opposite corners of the room. Her house, my house — it doesn’t matter. We’ve had random hangouts where time flew and laughter echoed. And somehow, my mom trusts her more than she trusts me… which is both tragic and fair.

Also, if you've never heard Ramayana or Mahabharata explained with dramatic pauses and hand gestures, you’re missing out. Sumana’s storytelling game is unmatched 🎭

Some days are quieter without you — no sudden meetings, no laughter, no warm “hii reyyy” to make everything feel okay. It’s strange not seeing you every day, not sharing those little moments that once felt endless. I miss you more than words can express — your presence, your comfort, your vibe. Distance has drawn lines between our locations, but never between our hearts. You’ll always be my favorite hello, even from miles away 🌙✨.

She’s not just my best friend. She’s my anchor, my hype woman, my partner in crime. Life is louder, funnier, and far more beautiful with Sumana by my side.

Love you forever, you glorious queen - SUMANA SREE REDDY 💕🌙🫶
Miss you ma ladyyyyyyyyyy!

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"
