Rudinym

Like Synonyms, Antonyms, and Homonyms, Rudinym is a word class that describes words or phrases which on the face are innocent and ordinary. However, such words or phrases can be construed as rude by those disposed toward bawdy humour, lowbrow guffaws, and childish tittering. They differ from double entendres because no normal person would misconstrue them as ribald.
Jimmy Two Toes says to Honest Steve "Hey mate, what kind of cat is that?" Honest Steve replies "Tabby". Both Jimmy and Steve then fall about laughing. Once recovered Jimmy adds 'tabby' to their ever-growing list of rudinyms.
