An oddly mapped town where you either run into passive aggressive middle-class white folk, or straight out aggressive hick folk. Full of depressing and popular culture wanna-be's. The school teaches nothing, and the sports team runs the entire schools morals. The people are fake, and popularity contests destroy individuality. If theres anyone to trust, its yourself. Half the teachers are there for a paycheck, the other half to actually teach what they are paid to. 80% of the curriculum is a waste of your entire childhood and adolescent life.

In the summer, only 10 minutes from beautiful Lake George where most residents in Queensbury have Lake Houses and many boats.senior skip day consisted of a huge party on the lake on out parents yahts =) In the winter, there's a local ski mountain right in Queensbury, and it's only 30 minutes from Gore Mountain. Very wealthy town, has a snobby , stuck up reputation but the chicks are hot and the football team is now AA. You either live in the mansions on the golf course, have a log mansion on the mountain, or live in a development with a view of the mountain. The teenagers are alcoholics and weed is easy to find. Wooo

Fashion is 3 months behind that of New York City, and the closest many people will get to luxury is going to Lake George in the summer where real wealth exsists. Most people in Queensbury have never seen an Acura before and think that Mercedes-Benzes/Audis/BMWs are ficticious. The idea that Queensbury is a wealthy town is brought on by the blue collar workers of Finch-Pruyn and Boston Scientific that make up the majority of Glens Falls

Get the queensbury mug.Alpine: Usually made up of 15-20 lazy individuals, who watch videos on skiing after a short run, while the Queensbury Nordic Ski Team (see below), does all the real work. Often expects to win friday soccer against the Queensbury Nordic Ski Team, but often loses week after week. Even with all these negative attributes, they somehow manage to dominate every single race, this is most likley attributed to the fact that they are from Queensbury, a school who is better than every school around it.
Nordic: Usually made up of 30-40 physically fit active individuals who go for runs that are twice as long as the Queensbury Alpine Ski Team (see above), and do twice as much activity/excercise. Often wins friday soccer against the Queensbury Alpine Ski Team week after week (as previously stated). Has dominated every race in their section for over 20 years. This is most likley attributed to the fact that they are from Queensbury, a school who is better than every school around it.

Get the Queensbury High School Ski Team mug.a cookie-cutter upstate new york suburb right between lake george and saratoga. walking around campus is like entering an abercrombie and fitch or the american eagle that just opened up in the mall. but a good majority of kids that live around here are smart and many go off to good colleges (or at least harvard on the hill...ACC!). hockey around here is amazing, as is running. football could be a bit better. it's winter here about half of the year. if you're here, go to dango's or otooles for a good time. lots of ice cream places. there's usually a party going on, and almost all the kids around here drink and have done pot at least once. people here like to think that they're differant from the rest, but it's pretty average. don't expect any surprises.
