She was married to Sam Keating until one of her students murdered him because he killed Lila Stangard and was strangling Rebecca Stutter. Professor Annalise Keating later on kills A.D.A Sinclar as she was getting close to convicting keating for murder of the first degree. The govenor of philidelphia and the castillo family (a very wealthy family) are trying to take Keating down because she is too powerful. Keating is then under 'operation bonfire' while the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) investigate all the details of Keating's life to try and prove she is guilty of many first degree murders. When she is taken to trial with the case of Federal Government v Annalise Keating, the jury finds Annalise not guilty. She later on lives a good happy long life until her death.
