Preppies

Preppies are people who go to prepatory highschools (Groton, Hotchkiss, Philips Exeter, Philips Andover, Deerfield, Laurence, etc.). Most of them shop at J. Crew, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, L.L. Bean, Ralph Lauren and all designer stores. Preppies are often mistaken for kids who shop at Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfiters, Rave, etc. Those who think "preppies" are girls who shop at those stores are VERY wrong.

You could tell by the way they were clad in Brooks Brothers that they were utter preppies.

Prep breeding grounds are Virginia, Connecticut and New England. We attended the best prep schools from Groton, Exeter, Andover, Hotchkiss, Country Day, Horace Mann, and Dalton. We do not wear American Eagle, Hollister or Abercrombie nor do we wear Old Navy. True preps are graced in Lacoste pique polos - the trusty alligator is always worn with the collar popped, Lilly Pulitzer kelly green and pink, Nantucket Reds, Brooks Brothers, J Crew, LL Bean boat shoes, and grossgrain ribbon watches/belts/head bands. We tuck in our shirts, we layer, we wear madras shirts, loafers without socks, and we are seldom seen without something that is monogrammed or tastefully engraved. We fence, sail, play rugby, build our character thrugh crew, hit the links and we can be found practicing our backhands and smashes. We tailgate and we go to ivy league schools or top LACs. We all have a nickname like Muffy or Bunny. You hate us because we are better than you.

Preppies

A social class of teens from grades 7-12 who are usually jocks or cheerleaders, constantly make fun of the nerds, go shopping at Old Navy, Aborcromie, or Limited too, shout "Wooo!" at sporting events, and are usually obsessed with looks.

Without those annoying preppies our school would finally have peace.

preps are popular snobs that have their own cliques. they have the lastests things such as sidekicks, iPhones, and blackberry phones. they shop at JUICY COUTURE, HOLLISTER, A&F, AERO..ETC. they mostly consist of cheerleaders. some may be smart.preps laugh a lot with friends, wanting other innocent students to get jealous of them.these preppy girls get up in the morning looking for the perfect outfit with their matching juicy couture purses, they also are the loudest in class, acting all smart and curious. they spend much time curling or fixing their hair. these girls often wear ugg boots and feel the best of the rest.

Stylin people who wear Gap, Banana Republic and occassionally actual name brands like Gucci or Prada.

Preppies (like me) hide their perpetual stoner buzz and utter contempt for the system behind khakis and polo shirts.
