Definition: An individual who engages in peaguatrism; someone who projects the image of a self-assured, independent "sigma male" but in truth displays the characteristics of a more submissive, dependent "beta male." A peaguatrist often masks their insecurities and desire for validation behind a veneer of aloofness and detachment.

Despite his attempts to act like a lone wolf, it was clear that Cody was a peaguatrist, constantly seeking approval from his peers while pretending to be unaffected by their opinions.
