Payton Place

A place where drama and evil dwell

The neighborhood I live in is a payton place because my neighbors like to stir up drama by telling lies and doing all things evil.

A phrase, based on the novel and TV show of the same name. Generally used to mean a location or a group replete with gossip, secrets, and double-crosses.

"Our office has become quite the little Peyton Place."
