Someone who studies all things paranormal, including, but not limited to, spiritual hauntings, cryptozoology, poltergeists and more. A paranologist can be anyone with a dedication to this field of study. (With more and more people entering the field of paranormal research, there is a need for a term of someone who studies or works in this field.)
There are several groups across the nation who have formed paranormal research teams. Each member of a team who studies paranormal activity can be considered a paranologist. Paranormal research has become a "hot topic" for many people.
Paraplegics have complete or incomplete paralysis of the lower half of the body including both legs, usually caused by damage to the spinal cord.
The amount of paralysis is almost always a correlation of how much damage was suffered in the spinal cord. Motor vehicle accidents are the prime cause and more than 10 thousand people per year suffer a spinal cord injury, most injuries result in tetraplegia which is paralyais of the entire body below the neck.
John was in a bad accident last night and severed his spinal cord.
How bad is it?
The trauma doctors at the hospital said his spine was severed near the lower part of his sternum. John may never walk again. He's paraplegic.
Thank god he's still alive and didn't suffer brain damage. And at least he's not a quadriplegic
"i wasn't gonna run from the cops but i was high, i was gonna pull right over and stop, but i was high-now i'm a paraplegic and i know why yeah cuz i got high, cuz i got high, cuz i got hiiigh..."
With the prefix para which appears in words from Greek, most often attached to verbs and verbal derivatives, with the meanings “at or to one side of, beside, side by side” and the suffix logic or logical, paralogic/paralogical means that no matter what the situation or debate; what one says in paralogic makes sense.
paralogical statement:
"The colour red equals moon."
response of debater:
"That makes no fucking sense, you're a bloody idiot!"
paralogical response:
"paralogically it is true and makes perfect sense! You're a paralogical ignoramus!"
