PBBV is a salmon-colored monke that normally "spawns" on the bridge in the Forest Map. It talks in a "deep, raspy voice". It normally says something along the lines of "PBBV is here. PBBV has become hostile".

There is also a video by chippdbanjo about PBBV named fileproof-appke that starts off totally normal but after probably 1 second the video's colors get more vibrant and then you'll start to hear a text-to-speech-like voice saying an IP address-like number combination and repeating them 2 times (it's shown below here you moron):

PBBV is Gorilla Tag's first and most known ghost, and people are still pretending to be them until this day, even though PBBV got banned at one point. Its color code is 9, 5, 4. PBBV can either spawn in Stump, then go to the bridge in Forest, or directly spawn in the bridge in Forest. PBBV will choose a random person to kick from the lobby or ban from Gorilla Tag, then it will leave like nothing happened.

People speculated PBBV meant "Player Bot Beta Version", since they thought it was an acronym, which could make sense, but it's still a mystery.

SREN17 is one of the most known ghost codes in Gorilla Tag, and PBBV might have spawned there multiple times.

To finish this definition off, here's what the audio says when we reverse it.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
