Muscle Beach 

This phrase is popular in the Adirondacks. It can be used to describe a person exhibiting a great feat of strength, but it is most commonly used with a sarcastic connotation to describe a person lifting a lightweight object.

Beach Muscles

Muscles that are gained through working out in a gym and may make a man look strong, but in reality they are gained just for show, like on a beach (hence the name), and therefore are not indicative of toughness or fortitude.

Mike "The Situation" has beach muscles. He looks strong but if he ever got in a fight with someone who was actually tough he would get his ass beat because he only has Beach Muscles.

Bachelor Muscles 

Refers to the forearm muscles. This is because these muscles get plenty of work when you are a bachelor without a woman.

Guy 1: "Man, my forearms are killing me after rock climbing yesterday!"
Guy 2: "Not me, my bachelor muscles are in tip-top condition these days!"
