Moppin Up

Waiting until the end of the night to pull whatever girls are left. Usually by this point they all look like freddie Kruger or have a body weight equivalent to that of a small elephant. The art of clearing up all the left overs as you would with a dinner plate after a meal.

Moppin' It Up

The act of flirting, laughing, courting, or sexual intercourse. However, it can be used in other ways, e.g. Drinking large quantities of alcohol, Winning consecutive intramural sports championships, and of course slamming out the phat puss.

mopping up

The process of completely cleaning up one's plate or bowl with bread after finishing a meal. Commonly associated with a Northern English roast dinner sopping in gravy, typically leaving a soup-like substance comprising of all elements of the roast.

Processes involve breaking parts off to wipe the plate, or immersing a whole slice in the pond of gravy to soak up before finishing it off with a knife a fork. One for the posh kids.

'Ere mum give me that plate - I'll do the mopping up, you have a lie down.
