Get the Moeen Ali mug.MoKenStef was an American female R&B trio from Los Angeles, California, active in the latter 1990s. The group name was a combination of the first syllable of each member's name: Monifa, Kenya, and Stefanie. They released an album, Azz Izz, in 1995, and their biggest hit was "He's Mine", which peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also spent one week in the UK Singles Chart in September 1995 at #70.1 Their second single, "Sex in the Rain", was not as successful, peaking only at #63 on the US R&B chart.
The last single was intended to be "Baby Come Close", remake of Smokey Robinson's song, for which MoKenStef recorded a remix called "I Can't Help It" (this one was a cover of Michael Jackson's song). Both, album and remix versions were released promotionally on cd and vinyl, the group also made a video for it directed by Cameron Casey,2 but in the end the intended single was never released commercially.
The group also did a performance in 1995 on the Nickelodeon show All That, where they performed the remix version of "He's Mine".

The term derives from the great fall of Molengrad after the sacred army's of Molen where defeated in a campaign that lasted well over a thousand years. The war saw a great loss of life on both sides haunting many generations, but the battle of Molengrad was pivotal to end the war. When the battle was concluded and the corpses settled and rotted, buildings of great history reduced to black sand and ruin, and the red river turned into a bog hellscape. No people of any nation wanted the land, it was a common taboo to even mention such a name. Even in modern times it is considered superstitious to not seek blessing from "Molen" before any kind of confrontation and/or challenge as a sort of omen. Many often use the term to describe turmoil, destruction, plague, death, hardship, poverty, inhumane cruelty, threatening, judicial murder.
