When the food you nuked to save time has become stiff, tough and almost unpallatable. This is especially common with bread or meat.
Example - ''Little Timmy's pizza now has Micromortis because it was exposed to the air around it for too long..had he paid attention to the timer on his microwave oven, then perhaps he would not have let it get so hot and as a result, left it sitting out on the kitchen counter to cool...turning what was once a soft, pillowy stuffed crust to a sad, hard, cracker-like shell with dried out remnants of crunchy , dried out cheese.
It was the last piece left...
