This name means admirable in Latin. Meranda's are very eclectic. She can be extremely intelligent, out-going, sweet, talented, out-doorsy, stylish, and gorgeous all at the same time. A Meranda cares deeply for others. She is a thoughtful friend, and supportive in nature. She does have a temper, and is impatient. Also, Meranda's are determined and often called "stubborn". She can fit into many roles in life, but is happiest when helping others. She is a strong leader.

Meranda

A female, usually with excessive tattoos and a substance abuse problem. She will do anything to get her fix, including lying to and stealing from friends and family. A Meranda is an unusual case because she is intelligent but really messed up.

I can't believe my sister just stole $55.00 dollars out of my wallet and claims that I "must have lost it somewhere."

meandian

The mean of values surrounding the median. This can be either the mean of the 49th percentile and 51th percentile, or any combination of percentiles. For example the mean of the 25th and 75th percentile.

If you have 5 values: 2, 4, 3, 1, 10

The mean is: 4 (the average value)
The median is: 3 (the center value when sorted)
The meandian (of the 25th and 75th percentile) is the mean of 1.75 and 5.5 which gives: 3.625.

The meandian is a better metric than the mean or median for describing data where there are big outliers.
