A single girl soliciting and receiving assistance from a male (friend, neighbor, or spouse of a friend) to complete a a task that a capable girl attempted but was unsuccessful in completing. The task is likely to involve any or all of the following: an applicance or fixture, a car, electricity, a drill, an allen wrench, a ladder.

Hey, Mary, can you send Hank over ASAP for some Mansistance. Some thing is not right - I have pieces left over after I put my IKEA furniture together.

Or maybe just one of those things a girl ought not have to do for herself!

This may or may not involve things like working out consistently and losing weight, learning to finally respect what women have to say, spending thousands of dollars on a new wardrobe, and sporting a pair of hipster glasses.
