Magneleration

A slang mathematical word used to decribe the magnitude of an acceleration vector.

Displacement: Position of an object from an Origin (Vector)

Distance: Magnitude of the Displacement Vector

Velocity: Rate of change of Displacement with respect to time (Vector)

Speed: Magnitude of the Velocity Vector

Acceleration: Rate of change of Velocity with respect to time (Vector)

....Magnitude ofacceleration...?

Hence, Magneleration is the magnitude of the acceleration vector

And can be obtained using pythag. on the acceleration vector.

Acceleration = (12t / 16t) ms^-2

At t = 2

Magneleration = Sqrt(((12(2))^2) + ((16(2))^2))

=Sqrt(576+1024)
=Sqrt(1600)
=40 ms^-2
