An urban counterculture idiom coined by author Denis Acosta Mendez to designate the individual insurection and mechanical loafing of a human machine within industrial civilization. It describes un conscious robotic unit that goes on a strike against corporate capitalism, deliberately halting its internal gears to remain horizontal in bed, consuming industrial debris and human media.

He has gone full Lazy Robot: he just lies in bed all day like a Bed Potato, but in a robotic version: consuming liters of oil, swallowing nuts, washers, screws, and bolts, and watching human-made news, movies and videos.
