pronounced 'late-ache-fast'

it is a form of breakfast eaten so late that it should be considered brunch, but you're going to have lunch at a normal time anyway.

I woke up at midday so cooked a fry up for lateakfast before going out for lunch.

Breakfast food eaten around lunchtime, that is from about 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Usually a result of sleeping in.

I slept till noon, then I went and had leakfast.
