A foolish or stupid person. A person with a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term once belonged to a classification system considered offensive, but in 2009 prevalent use of the term has been granted widespread acceptance.

It's when you commit to something and then pull out for your own selfish reason(s).
