To steal an idea of a colleague and claim it as your own.

The "new" idea my boss shared in our staff meeting was exactly the one I had shared with a colleague in a previous conversation. I knew I had been LaPrelled when he recited my words verbatim!

A state of mental disconnection with the rest of society

*takes 15 mins to collect belongings and leave. "C'mon lampbell, were late!"
*Joe was delinquently wandering around ignoring his friends shouting "stop lampbelling around man!"
