In keeping with computer terminology, its use was popular on dialup bulletin board systems (BBSes) in the 80s and early 90s, frequented by first and second generation hackers and computer enthusiasts.

I found this krad demon-dialer on a l33t bbs.

Kradam 

A slash pairing (male/male) consisting of American Idol Season eight contestants Adam Lambert and Kris Allen.

Most plot lines portray Kris as weak and conflicted and often contain him making reference to his wedding ring and constantly feeling the need to touch it.
