Komtry is the Haitian style of country music, characterised by typical ,instruments:
Pedal steel guitars, Washboards, Piwno, Accordions/concertinas, Mandelin, Drums Harmonica, Acoustic guitars, Dobro, Zither, Banjos, Autoharp, Fiddle, and Bass.
The gentre also introduced the use of the Keytar, Trumpet, Trombone, and the Saxophone.
The only difference between the two genres are:
Country is sung in English while Komtry is sung by Haitian Ballad, Bolero and Troubadour Singers in Haitian Creole.
