Kill it before it lays eggs

When someone says this it's a reference to an individual so stupid, annoying, etc that it should not be existing and is better off being killed before it reproduces (before it lays eggs = before it makes more of itself/ has youngsters as annoying/stupid as itself)
Guy 1: KARGJATA

Guy 2: Kill it before it lays eggs

Kill it with eggs before it lays fire!

Self explanatory.

You see the creepy crawly thing that must die and in your panic you yell “Kill it with eggs before it lays fire” instead of what you were actually trying to say- to kill it with fire before it lays eggs.

*Sees a cockroach scuttle through the lawn*

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
