interactionism

1. A theoretical perspective in sociology.
2. As opposed to social responsibility. The structures, social conventions, design, etc, in society that encourages and sometimes forces social interaction and the way it plays out and likewise what also discourages and sometimes punishes a person for not being social enough or in the right way. It's what motivates a lot of the social behaviour of a person that is not motivated by personal desire, culture or our evolutionary history.
"Look Johnny at this example of interactionism in Facebook. Do you see that little icon? That means he has read my message and because he knows I've seen him read it, it encourages him to a quick response, otherwise I'll assume he's ignoring me andI'll get angry at him. Interactionism at its finest Johnny boy."

"Oh, look Johnny! Here's another social cause they want me to care about. Well, it's not like they are asking, they are telling me to. And a lot of people will do that simply because they can. The structures created by interactionism makes that possible. You should have lived with me in the golden days before internet Johnny."

interactionship

something akin to a friendship or relationship; it's explicitly not a friendship bc it may lack a foundation of trust to start and is traditionally not platonic; it's explicitly not a relationship bc it is not exclusive and lacks rigidity in commitment; it must be highly enjoyable and indulgent despite having an element of confusion due to its ambiguity

the origin stems from the need to refer to a non-traditional exchange between two individuals based off of a verb. 'relationship,' based on 'relate,' was rejected bc it has extremely different connotations. 'exchangeship' was rejected bc it sounds lame.

members of an interactionship may be referred to as 'interactioneers,' pioneering new ways that ppl relate, or as 'interactionauts,' (based off of astronauts), bc 'interactionship' sounds a bit like 'spaceship.'
KPouns: So what's the latest with that guy you hooked up with last weekend? Where is it headed?

JDH2: Who knows? It exceeds definition. I'd classify it as an interactionship at present.

interactivism

Activism for humanitarian or political causes taking part interactively on the internet. When physical involvement is not a possibility, interactivism usually is. The internet is a fantastic tool for communication, and as with all forms of communication before it, it can be used to influence other people through the sharing of ideas and opinions.
Amnesty International launched a trend on Twitter and a petition on Facebook; encouraging people to take part in interactivism!

Polyperfunctory Interjectionism

A grammatical syndrome (PPI) characterized by the egregiously frequent, mind-numbingly excessive and habitual use of perfunctory interjections in even short conversational narratives. PPI afflicts moronic conversationalists from all walks of life but most frequently afflicts adolescents, young adults and professional athletes.
Like - I said -like - "What's up?" She says -like- "Nothing. Why?" So I -like - go up to her -like- and -like- give her a nipple noogie."

"I was skating hard -you know- and Spyder -you know- lifts his stick into my eye. So -you know- I dropped my gloves - you know- and I -like- decked him."

"Polyperfunctory Interjectionism is - like - you know - going to -like- be the downfall -you know- of -like- civilized conversation."

Dealing with relationships can be complicated, and there are often hidden stories behind couples' surface-level interactions. Every relationship is unique, and each partner brings their past experiences, values, and communication styles to the table.
