I'm doing me

The act of taking care of yourself first. Making yourself happy. Not trying to please others.
Don't you feel bad for doing that?

Nope. I'm doing me!

I'm doing me

When a chick doesn't want to commit to a relationship, usually because she is in a it's complicated situation or she is low key fucking her ex or other dudes, trying to get her sluttiness out of her system before settling down.
Jerome: you know I feel you Lakisha, lets make this happen.

Lakisha: you're a good friend, but I just broke up with my ex. Right now, I'm doing me.

It's not you... It's me... and I'm doing me, a lot better than you did me

I'm doing me

The dismissive excuse that a self-centered, ego-maniacal and, typically, a mentally inferior douche-bag uses to feel better about the fact that they disregard the advice of others, especially those close to them.

They believe that any person who is attempting to steer them away from their self-destructive habits is merely trying to change "who dey really is". Most idiots of the same caliber tend to mutter an "amen" when the phrase is heard.
"Jerry, I really think that you should get your high school diploma instead of selling street drugs to middle school children."

"Damn momma why yoo gotta be up in mah shee-it all duh tahm? You shoo' know I'mma thug an' I jus' I'm doing me."

Trust Me, I know what I'm doing

A phrase often usd by people who don't really know what they're doing.

This catch phrase was often used by the 80's TV cop Sledge Hammer right before he does something that results in some sort of catastrophic event or disaster.
Captain Trunk: Sledge, you cannot disarm that nuclear bomb!

Sledge Hammer: Trust me, I know what I'm doing.

(A nuclear explosion ensues thus ending the season finale of Sledge Hammer)

Trust Me, I know what I'm doing

what republicans say when voting on a bill, always wrong.
Donald Trump likes to project, "trust me, I know what I'm doing", but that is only in reference to promoting himself.
