(n.) A person usually in the tech support division of software or computer corporations such as Microsoft or Dell who is given an English name to sound local even though they still have their accent.
However their name is not limited to Bob and can be a variety of English names to make the caller feel more comfortable

Hindu Bob(in a very heavy Indian accent): Thank you for calling Dell tech support your call is important to us. My name is Richard how can i help you.

John: You man I tried to call you like earlier but I only got your voice mail.

Steve: Yeah I was on the phone with Hindu Bob for 3 hours.

church hurt
