To explain an activity, in a way that encourages the listener to do said activity.

Making the negative aspects of a scary or difficult thing seem less scary and hard.

Sophie happysplained the gym to her friend, 'the people there just want to get strong too, they encourage each other.'

Happysplain

Explaining something typically thought of as mundane or negative in an unironically optimistic or positive way. Possibly first coined in response to a post about how gyms are scary for first-timers but can be positive and happy experiences.

Now if she could just happysplain my job to me with the same energy that way I can get as excited to go to work as I do when I go to the gym. – @thecreatividad
