Some dumbass named Steve decided to add picardia emojis to Hitting Trees With Stick's discord server (Yellow, Red, green, blue), and another dummy mate named MYMY decided to link these emojis to various Minecraft ores, the hivemind nature of the server made around 8 strangers continously spam the word, the admins and mods liked the meme.

Though a lot of people might think it comes from Fred, Greg, or Greed, it doesn't.
