Person 1 and 2 are watching underground street fights with cash prizes.
Person 1: "Wow. That person's a badass. They're beating everyone."
Person 2: "I heard they have a loved one with a
chronic health condition and the prize money goes toward medical bills. That's why nobody can just goad them into a
fight by using a callout. They'll blow off
anything like that in any context, because it's not a pride thing. If there's no money and nobody's in danger, they won't fight anyone. More like a goodass!"
