That's when you get into a situation or do an action that you will
regret later on. You may ask yourself, 'My God! What have I
done?' as the famous Talking
Heads song goes.
1. After George H W Bush left the Oval Office in 1993, he said he'd write his memoirs. It finally came out about 10 years later. It details everything from his youth, WW2 service,
CIA career, diplomatic career, time in Congress and as Vice-President under Ronald Reagan. He ran for President and won in 1988 and Dan Quayle was his pick for Vice-President.
Of course, the whole world changed during Bush's
single term. The Cold War ended peacefully meaning that there would be no nuclear
suicide. The Information Revolution was dawning and there were a lot of social and economic changes that Bush (and his successor
Bill Clinton) couldn't comprehend or handle. As for Quayle, the only mention of him that Bush made was 'My God! What was I thinking?'. Well, everybody fucks up sometimes -
don't we?
2.
Johnny got a free CD from some artist who was running an ad during a pause while playing a Facebook video game. The ad came with a
deal where you could buy two more (for less). He gets them in the mail, puts one on. Man, it SUCKS. He thinks, 'What was I thinking, man?!'. That's a George Bush Moment for ya.
