genderwang

Metaphysical, magical notions about humans that are labeled as "gender" for political and social purposes, but constitute the exaltation of mundane personality traits. Typically incorporates ignorance or outright denial of observable biology, uses contradictory ideas - e.g. gender is both a "social construct" and an immutable, unquestionable internal trait - as well as made-up words that don't mean anything.
A: I'm a non-binary cakegender and my pronouns are xie/xir
B: Firstly, that's a bunch of genderwang. You're a straight, white woman LARPing for social capital. Secondly, and more importantly, I don't know why you're telling me any of this when all I asked for was a Big Mac and large fries.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.
