The Morgan Freeman Effect

When you see a phrase related to a movie or TV show in text and you immediately hear the actors voice in your head as you read it.

Examples: "Hasta la Vista baby." "Say hello to my little friend." "Here's Johnny!" "Sickness must be purged."
The reason this is referred to as "The Morgan Freeman effect" is because Morgans voice is so distinct and ingrained in peoples memories that it is notoriously and extremely easy to recall when seeing his picture or reading a quote by him.

The Morgan Freeman Effect

The effect where, when reading a passage of text, the internal monologue is in Morgan Freeman's voice rather than your own.
"When I read the Ten Commandments, I totally get the Morgan Freeman Effect."

The Morgan Freeman Effect

When a person is attractive as a whole, but has a few qualities that are unattractive. The Morgan Freeman Effect states that those unattractive qualities become just as attractive as the other qualities. It is called the Morgan Freeman Effect because when you look at Morgan Freeman, a semi-decent actor, with a more than amazing voice, you think everything about him is extremely fantastic. This happens because of the one quality he is famous for, his soothing, gentle, massaging voice. This makes the fact that he is an okay actor completely irrelevant, because he is fucking Morgan Freeman.
Guy- "Why do you think shes so hot??? She has such a huge nose!!"
Friend- "I don't know, I think its kinda cute."
Guy- "Ahhh! The Morgan Freeman Effect at its finest."

The Morgan Freeman effect

The Morgan Freeman effect occurs when a God-like actor such as Morgan Freeman appears in an otherwise awful movie and makes it awesome just because he is in it.
The Morgan Freeman effect applies to actor such as Morgan Freeman, Ian Mckellan and Tom Hanks.

Gordon Freeman effect

A strong urge to protect humanity from invading aliens, stop talking, destroying all boxes in sight and to crawl around in vents, that somebody gets whenever they hold a crowbar.
Jake: " hey look at this crowbar"

Mike: " carefully it might have the Gordon Freeman effect on you"
Jake: * smashing boxes with said crowbar*

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
