1. To stay up late at night.
2. To remain awake despite being tired because you’re gaming, scrolling, studying, or overthinking.

Etymology: From Filipino puyat (sleepless from staying up), altered to sound more English by shifting p → f and adding another y at the end of the yat. Puyat -> Foyatt
