An indiscernable smell, usually on a plan or bus, that confuses the senses because it isn't clear if it is a fart or someones meal.

Fogarty
A short, yard gnome looking male, that is extremely creepy (also known as C.G.) around the work place. He usually hits on girls in the office and is known to have multiple HR pending cases against him. You can usually find this short perverted little man lurking into the women's bathroom at work.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
