**Flabbernoop (noun):**
A humorous, endearing, yet mildly offensive term used to describe an
individual who believes they are highly intelligent but, in reality, are lazy, offish, and possess
intelligence slightly below average. A true flabbernoop often takes shortcuts, struggles with basic tasks, ignores guidance, and becomes
argumentative when challenged—convinced that they are a genius while everyone else is foolish.
HHe thought he was a genius—a
legend in his own mind—convinced that his intellect far surpassed everyone around him. In reality, he was a lazy, offish slacker who dodged
responsibility, ignored guidance, and refused to acknowledge his own shortcomings. Despite repeated attempts to mentor him, he remained defiant, insisting that others were fools while his careless shortcuts created chaos.
The term 'flabbernoop' was born within the walls of the North Dakota State Penitentiary, coined to describe individuals just like him—those who mistake arrogance for
intelligence and stubbornness for wisdom. And in every sense of the word, he was a flabbernoop.
