Fake nerds 

The biggest idiots on the planet. They pretend to be geeks or nerds to be cool.
You see, if you're like me, you've been called a nerd or a geek your whole life. Then you see these jackasses walking along, speaking in 1337 in REAL LIFE like idiots, using terms like "uber" and "w00t," professing how much of a nerd they are. They have tons of friends and everyone seems to like them.
Meanwhile, you and your lonely, virgin for life friends sit watching in disgust, wondering why someone would WANT to be a nerd.
Why would someone want to be like you and your friends, talking too loud or too quiet, being socially awkward, and being the only people you know who have never touched a girl? Are people stupid?

The answer is a definite yes.

Fake nerds: "lol uber w00t! I know how to go to MySpace at school! It's easy, you just open command prompt, type tracert myspace.com, wait, and then copy the IP into the address bar! I'm such a nerd, I'm sorry!"

Real nerds: "I'm going to die alone."

Fake Nerd 

A Fake-Ass person who has seen shows like "Big Bang Theory" (or to a lesser extent "Twilight") and have mixed in the Modern Hipster culture and styles of wearing Fake "Ray-Bans" and 80's style clothes. They have played some kind of Popular video game such as "Call of Duty, Madden/Fifa or a singing/music game" and think that they are also "Gamers" They claim they are nerdy because they they do these things or Hang out with similarly minded individuals. They are completly fake because they have no real sense of what a nerd is. They are also the same people who make fun of people for playing Xbox or PS3 too much, or play World Of Warcraft in their spare time. Real Nerds are disgusted by the way posers, pretend to be like them.

Fake Nerd 

A person who is ignorant of traditional "nerdy" things, and is ignorant of their own ignorance. Give these people a break! Instead of being mean about it, inform them about these things! Ignorance is not the same thing as stupidity, so don't beat these poor people up for it. It just gives you an chance to talk more about your "nerdy" interests and encourage them to learn more.

A: She's such a fake nerd!
B: Shut up! She's a nice person. She provably doesn't even know she's a "fake nerd"

Fake Nerd 

Perhaps even a wannabe high IQ person.
Who acts like they enjoy learning.
Who express themselves by using big words, when it's quite excessive.
A person who exceeds their studies by cheating.
A person who sometimes acts dumb to gain attention from others.
A person who acts quirky.
A person who tries to interest themselves in what nerds like.

That human is a fake nerd because they're being restrictive in a setting of real nerds.
