FAUXBEAUX

Male admirers who feel some type of way about females they are not with, can't be with, have no intention of being with or will never actually be with.

While many people may confuse a fauxbeaux for a male friend, fuckboys (fuckboi), fuck buddies, friends with benefits or simps a fauxbeaux is NOT the same.

Fauxbeaux are not necessarily friends, they may be mistaken for friends of the family or white knights but any puppyguarding they exhibit is not about chivalry or because they want to be with her.

They simply treat her the way they want to or think she should be treated, even if the female they admire doesn't notice or solicit his favor much like fans.

They are famous for confusing the hell out of other people, but much like the terms Faux and Beaux suggest..

These guys are not boyfriends.

They may actually even confuse the woman by not realizing their behavior may give her mixed signals, but the reality of the situation is that nothing actually materializes between them.

Fauxbeaux may be mistaken for flirts, gentlemen, lost souls and potential sugardaddies or side pieces on the surface but upon closer inspection they are none of the above.

They often trigger others to ask questions but most people usually can't put a name on them, because they don't seem to fall into most other reliable categories.
BFF: "What's up with Ali and Charlie? Any of that ever become a thing?"

Female: "Um, Charles and I were FB for a little while but he orbited a bit, but we don't click and then he finally got married. But Ali is just one of those FAUXBEAUX, he ain't even trying to marry or fuck. You know he's Muslim and we don't even actually talk or hang out. Sometimes things just don't translate when you grow up differently. Somehow I know he'd snap on a dude tho if he saw someone disrespecting me - LOL".

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
