Focus Attack Dash Cancel

In Street Fighter 4, you can cancel one of your character's special moves by using the focus attack right after using your special move, thus canceling the special move. After canceling with the focus attack, you can then dash out and cancel your focus attack.
I used FADC to cancel my shoryuken in order to set-up for Ryu's Ultra Combo!

Which is sometimes used to portray a more "responsible" club event.

So, are we meeting for FADC again next week?

A genre of music originating from hardcore roots. This musical genre is ridden with talentless musicians who rely solely on trends and fads to get their fifteen minutes of fame.
Fadcore bands are easy to pick out due to the simplistic nature of their writing style, stolen stage presence, and/or recycled breakdowns.

Most of these bands rely heavily on something that is catchy to their target market for about three weeks, then it becomes unbearable to listen to and boring after enough listens.
Joe: Hey man what do you think about this Isetmyfriendsonfire song?
Bob: Yeah, it's pretty catchy and I like it enough to see them live.
(three weeks later)

Joe: God damn that was the lamest fucking concert I've ever been to.
Bob: Yeah, the vocalist sounds like someone is stepping on his throat.

(A few days later in Joe's car)
Joe: Hey man what do you think about this Asking Alexandria song?
*music plays* OH MY GOD
Bob: Holy shit this is the best music ever!
(After a few weeks)
Joe: I'm sick and tired of listening to this one stringed chanting recycled breakdown fadcore bullshit.
Bob: Yeah fuck this band, let the fourteen year old girls listen to and waste their money on this pathetic excuse for a band.

A portmanteau of "fad" and "franchise". It refers to a media property that initially garnered massive hype and peaked in popularity before rapidly becoming irrelevant, widely mocked or outdated.

Where timeless classics succeed at maintaining long-term cultural relevance, fadchises fail to do so once the initial trend dies down.
Man: "Slender Man exploded into popularity that garnered a multimedia franchise. But over the years, it lost modern day relevance and became a fadchise."

Hate Sink

A person you hate intensely not because they deserve such hatred but because they serve as a focus for your general hatred. A healthy way to dispense with excess animosity.
Jake's not really that big an asshole. He just serves as my hate sink.

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.
