A blanket. It's just a blanket.
Why do guys like us know what a duvet is? Is this necessary to our survival, in the hunter-gatherer sense of the word?

The Duvet of Filth

The Duvet of Filth in the Old Testament Was placed on top of Dennis even though he already had a blanket and was fully clothed. On the third minute Dennis rose again and never slept again.
Pazuzu killed those people but the Duvet of filth pulled the strings.

Club Duvet

Club Duvet is a small, cosy nightclub located out of the city centre. People often decide to on to go there instead of a larger venue at some stage of a night out.

It means going home to bed, as an alternative to going on to another venue to continue your night out.
We went to the pub on Saturday night and drank, then on to The Lizard club. About 2am they closed, and Mark and Joe were still partying so they headed on to Slimelight, but I was tired so I went to club duvet instead.

duvet cover

An item bought at stores like Bed Bath & Beyond. Its exact nature and purpose remains a mystery to single men. The only way to uncover its manifold secrets is to marry a woman, and then be forced to go shopping for one.
Friend: Hey! You wanna hang out?
Newly-wed man: Sorry, man. We have to go shopping for a duvet cover.
Friend: What the hell is that?
Newly-wed man: I dunno, but apparently we need one.

The only thing that'd ever be on top of you (because it doesnt have much of a choice-). Is usually made with a fairly soft material so you can sleep comfy, while knowing perfectly well that no one is in the bed with you because you're lonely :)
Chez: is nathan gonna be sharing your bed tonight?
Parrott: nope, just my duvet, its so sad :(
