A term used in a way to say "Yo, wanna fight?" But sometimes you actually are talking about dropping a pair of mittens..

Gamer1: WHAT THE CRAP, NICE KILL LULULUL. IT TOOK YOU LIKE 17 FREAKIN' HITS TBH.
Gamer2: Yo man, you wanna drop the mits?

ex2:
Person1: Dude, drop the mits.
Person2: Already dropped!
Person1: You sure about that?
Person2: I have like 35 pairs of mits waiting to be dropped, son!

Origins from hockey(ice hockey) where two combatants would remove their hockey gloves to engage in fist to fist combat.

Hockey Commentator: "looks like they're going to drop the mits here"
