DOOM box

Box of various stuff, often gathered over time. Doom boxes originate from cleaning sprees under time pressure. Usually it is the intention of a doom box creator to postpone organizing the stuff in a doom box.

Many people interpret doom boxes by the well know and often used acronym "Didn't Organize, Only Moved".

sometimes also called "doom bags".

I should really take a week off to deal with all of those doom boxes that I've gathered over the years.

It’s a great way to describe the box you fill up in a fast unorganized cleanup, but then never get around to sorting or emptying.

Joe has piles of doom boxes leftover from his last move and he still hasn’t emptied them three years later.

Miscetaneous box of doom

A large and unwieldy box containing a high number of miscetaneous items. Often this box is used as a last resort when attempting to pack up a dorm room. To create a Miscetaneous box of doom, simply find a large box and throw the entire contents of your room inside, without any care for delicate items or organization.

"Where is the extra power strip?" chris asked. Tergis responded - "Oh, I think its in my miscetaneous box of doom. Good Luck."

Doombox

the Doombox is a behavior exhibited by those with ADHD, a Doombox is formed when a person has a certain amount of random items they have no set place for, so they will convert an unused space (drawer, box, empty shelf, ect)
into a Doombox, and as more and more items are accumulated, more Doombox's will be created. The Doombox is an unstoppable force of chaos that seeks to clutter one's storage.
