Someone who claims to be a fan of One Direction, but only likes them for their looks. They barely know anything about them. Usually, they like Zayn or Harry only. They barely know any of their songs, if any.

Person A: Are you a fan of One Direction?

People who think they have swag like Directioners. The are fake/new fans of the amazingly good looking and talented boy band One Direction. They do not understand inside jokes. They think they are better then original fans. They most probably think:
"Zayn" is spelt "Zain"
Liam likes cats.
Harry hates spoons.
Louis loves Food.
Niall likes carrots.

Directionator 

A new One Direction fan that started liking them in March. They don't understand the inside jokes and says mean things about Niall's teeth. They don't understand the concept of Jimmy protesting NO and they like them for their looks.

Girl A- Do you like One Direction?
Girl B- Yes I am the biggest Directionator ever!!
Girl A- NO, Jimmy protested!

Directionator should mean that , you're a fake fan, and only care about their looks and drop them when they fall.

If a Directionator found out Harry & Caroline were dating they would suddenly hate them and act like their not their fan, but as soon as a big hype about One Direction comes, they will be all over them and act like they were real fans.

The kind of person you want to hit with an axe. Pretty much.
These girls try to fit in with us, but it won't ever work. They probably will only like Harry because he gets solos and hate everyone else. They'll try to fit in, but they won't get any of our inside jokes, or know who the fuck were talking about. They only know WMYB and think they're so dedicated. They think they know shit, but really they're irrelevant and deserve a banana in the face.
They don't know Danielle, Eleanor, Perrie, Uncle Simon, Cher,Ed,Savan, The Tomo, Barry, Hughey, Ian, Wayne, and Kyle, Larry Stylinson, US One Direction.
They wont get SUPEERRMMANN, spoons, cats, Larry Stylinson, how much Australia means to us, PEW PEW, Nandos, football, DJ Malik, Carrots, IM A SONG, energy juice,fungi jokes, mirrors, turtles, or July 24th at 8:22 pm will just be another time for them. Nope .
And the sad thing is, we deal with it.

an anti-fan of one direction ... commonly think tht niall is spelled nyall...louis as lewis or luis zayn is zain and that they are only popular for their looks.

the most annoying of all "fans" out there usually start fights with the reall fans (directioners) on twitter. only know 1 or 2 songs and put down any love intrests of the boys

Directionator 

First off, let me say this doen't apply to all fans of One Direction. People shouldn't be judged because there was no way they could have possibly known about 1D. The Directionators are those young, bratty, newbie fans.You know which ones are them. It just pisses us, Directioners, off because these brats make 1D's image awful to other people. Example:

Friend: "You like 1D? Isn't that for like immature, bratty, little girls?

We still want D to suceeed because we love them, we're not being possesive, we just don't like to see all our dedication go to waste. I mean. I don't want my 9 year old sister wanting to go to a 1D concert with me.(If I ever did go.) I mean, really? I just think they're too good, to go to waste like that.

How To Spot A Directionator:
-They always think of themselves of Directioners.
-They have only been fans since WMYB was released & became popular.
-They think WMYB was 1D's first song.
-They spell the guys name's wrong and such.Simple mistakes as a newbie. (i.e. Henry likes girls who eat carrots. Zain has a pigeon named Stevin.)
-I agree, they think they're better than the original fans of 1D, the ones who have been fans since the beginning on the X Factor.
-They hate on the boy's current girlfriends.
-Usually around the ages of 7 to 14
