Similar yet extremer than a Dissenter, a Devoluter is a person who discards all fields of human thought, rational or irrational, from the equation of truth perceived by ones eyes.. True Devoluters are remote and vast, belonging to an unwritten book, rather forlorn and lost from possession.

Devoluters permeate as self evident and can only be self exemplified.

The act of reverse evolution. This word has been coined by the band "Devo". Devolution is a process which mankind is permanently engaged in, and is irreversable. There's nothing one can do about it, so enjoy the ride.

devourer 

an air creature from starcraft(broodwar) that can only attack other air units. it belongs to the zerg race, and works well with sourges to eliminate flying forces. it is the equivalent of the corsair(protoss) and the valkyrie(terran) which are also released in broodwar.
they do a moderate amount of damage with splash, but most important is that they slow the enemy's rate of fire with spores.

he came in with carriers and i thought i was done for, but with some devourer's and and a dozen scourges i managed to hold him off.

Time Devourer 

The Time Devourer came from the game prior to Chrono Cross, which is Chrono Trigger. In CT, the main villians were the Lavos species. Even after their destruction, their Mammoth Machine still survived after the battle, and is still located in the year 2400AD, and is in the process of destroying all time and existence, hence it's name. Trapped inside is the young Princess Schala, who's life is in danger. In CC, at the end, you must destroy the Time Devourer without killing Schala as well by playing the "Song of Life," which is playing the element colors in order, then using the "Chrono Cross" element.

The Time Devourer is my favorite boss battle from the video game Chrono Cross.
