Detoxicology

The science of removing toxins from a human, animal, plant or other life form. as opposed to traditional toxicology, which studies the effects of toxins entering the body.

Toxicologists study what happens when toxins and toxicants enter a plant or animal (happy hours!), while detoxicologists study how to get them out (hangovers!)--the science of detoxicology.
