A relationship where one party declares things uncommitted or over,
but continues to silently enforce the expectations, rules, and emotional boundaries
of a committed relationship without ever discussing them.

“We’re not together. We aren’t a thing,” he said.

And she just blinked.
Because she knew he’d spiral if she actually went on a date.
