A process used by the very frugal as a way to bypass the liver and inject achohol as directly as possible into the blood stream.

The somewhat phonetic spelling of some Americans' attempts to properly pronounce the name of the breed of dog dachshund meaning "badger dog" in German. One pronounces dashound like so: DASH-HOUND. In fact the proper German pronunciation of the dog breed is DOX-HOOND, and the preferred American pronunciation is DOX-UND.
