short for "dirty-mexican", d-mex is a term often used by the members of ckumc to identify the cuisine served from stands, pick up truck beds, roach coaches, and/or push carts, specifically from the underprivileged and financially unstable areas of mexico.

A word commonly misused and misunderstood for a type of Mexican with low hygienic standards. Although a real meaning is yet to be found, but some may say that it was intentional to have no meaning.
