Cuzcatlan

The name that the native people of what is now El Salvador, the Pipil, called what is now El Salvador.

Cuzcatlan is what the Pipil called El Salvador before the Spanish arrived.

What present-day El Salvador was called before the Spanish took over or before it won independence Im not so sure. Now cuscatlan is a department(state) in El Salvador.

The Cuscatlan flag looked like the U.S flag just that the stripes were blue, the square was red and it only had 14 stars
