In sales, bringing a deal to an agreed decision and commitment. The customer accepts the offer and the parties agree the relevant scope and terms. The point where 'let us think about it' becomes a clear yes, with something concrete to start.

After two proposal revisions, we reached closing: they approved the scope and signed the agreement. The celebration was a coffee before the next call.
