The most amazing woman in the world. She is creative, sexy has the brains and beauty of a goddess. She is complicated but once you get to know her, you will never regret it. When she walks in a room, she makes the men turn heads. She is secretive at times and lacks expression of emotion for certain reasons. A girl who is crazy and outgoing as soon as you meet them. After you get to know her she is also, brave, loyal and protective of friends and family. Carilyn is a girl who shines best around her friends but careful if you say something about her or her friends she just might rip your head off. Carilyn is a girl with a short temper and significant rage, she is someone who will kill for the people she cares most about. Carilyn is a great friend if you are ready for the wild side of her. Carilyn doesn't fit in any social class instead she makes her own with the people she trusts and cares about most. Carilyn is an amazing friend and will never abandon you even if you did something wrong you will always be on her mind. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
